KarteCo Selected for “Japan’s Service Innovation 2025”

KarteCo Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hiroyuki Iwasaki) is pleased to announce that “KarteCo,” the PHR (Personal Health Record) system it develops and provides, has been selected for “Japan’s Service Innovation 2025,” published by the Service Industry Productivity Council of the Japan Productivity Center (Chairman: Yoshimitsu Kobayashi).

With the proportion of examinees whose health checkup produces a finding approaching 60%, we use a system that can send recommendation emails to encourage examinees to seek appropriate medical care, achieving the early detection and treatment of chronic diseases and other conditions, which in turn contributes to solving social challenges such as extending healthy life expectancy and optimizing healthcare costs. To help realize a society in which people can choose their own healthcare, we will continue to expand the “KarteCo” service.

About “Japan’s Service Innovation 2025”

This is an initiative to broadly select and announce innovative, outstanding service case studies that are boldly taking on the challenge of service innovation, in order to contribute to improving the productivity of the service industry. A total of 91 services were selected as “Japan’s Service Innovation 2025.”

About “KarteCo”

In addition to letting users view their own medical care information and health checkup results, KarteCo uses AI (artificial intelligence) to predict the risk of onset of 34 diseases based on checkup results. It is also equipped with a function that uses sensing (contactless biometric measurement) technology to measure autonomic nervous system balance and other indicators, and a function for saving one’s own vital signs and lifestyle records.
